Our entire team wants not only to create beautiful smiles for you and your family, but we also are committed to creating a comfortable and stress-free environment for all. We love that each and every team member shares this philosophy and always provides our patients with the very best in care and service. We want to take some time this month to share a little more about one of our team members — our dental assistant Kia.
Kia recently celebrated her one year anniversary of joining our team! She started back in April 2021. Kia decided to become a dental assistant because she always loved going to the dentist and is passionate about oral health. She loves her job because she is able to help patients see the transformation of their smile from start to finish. She enjoys being a part of the process that helps patients not only change their appearance, but improve their self confidence as well.
Kia wants patients to know that it’s ok if they feel nervous or have dental anxiety when they go to the dentist. It is more common than people realize. Kia strives to ensure that each patient is comfortable during their visit to the office.
When she is not in the office, Kia might be out enjoying nature. She loves hiking and taking her cat Dill for a walk. You may be surprised to learn that Kia loves writing and has had a few research articles published. If given the opportunity, Kia would love to travel anywhere with a beach, sunshine and shells.
